Largest ferry in North America which will take us to Nova Scotia. It’s called a RoRo-Pax vessel which means Roll On Roll off /with Passengers. On our direction of travel
we roll on the back ramp then roll off upfront where they have clam shell doors. The vessel travels at about 20 knots for economy. It can go up to 25. It carries over 500 vehicles on three different levels. We had a cabin with 4 births and a wonderful bathroom with shower. It cost about $90 extra and was well worth it. It also had a casino, several restaurants, bars, exercise room, AND,on the 10th level, a room for pets.
Sunday AM now Nova Scotia.
Adam was not too impressed with his overly loud neighbors. He is happy to be back “home.” Silky smooth crossing and I slept the entire time – not so you mother. We drove about 5 miles and will stay the night here, North Sydney, in a nice RV park with good wifi for a change. And, it’s not even 10AM.
Time for a real breakfast although they took all our root vegetables – which were about 5 lbs of potatoes and all our carrots. Not permitted here if they came from NL.
